Hi, I’m Kara the creator of Love Literacy! I’ve been a passionate educator for over 20 years, and teaching literacy has always been at the heart of my classroom. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching students grow into confident, capable readers and writers.
When I’m not teaching first grade or creating literacy resources to support other educators, you’ll find me off on adventures with my husband and our two boys—usually exploring new places in our RV! I also love spending time in my garden trying to grow and keep things alive.
Whether I’m building reading routines, designing phonics activities, or just enjoying a quiet evening with my family, I bring a love of learning and creativity to everything I do. Thanks for stopping by—I’m so glad you’re here!
